I think Weston was a little tired. He put on his tool belt to go outside and help his daddy while I ran to Walgreens. This is how he was when I got home. He must of been worn out from taking care of his baby all day long.

I thought this was so sweet. Weston fell asleep while getting his brother to sleep. He is such a good big brother and does not like to be anywhere his brother is not. We are so blessed to have two sweet boys.

Brooks had a very exciting day today! He got to meet all of his cousins. They all loved on him and took turns holding him. Jalen did great with feeding him and holding him.

Weston is being the best big brother ever. He is protective over him already and wants to hold him every chance he gets. I will be glad to get home to be with the both of them. I miss my buddy so much but I know he probably hasn't thought twice about us because he has been with Jalen and Elijah yesterday and today and is staying with Mimi and Pawpaw tonight.

All of my mom's coworkers at Dr Shane's office sent Weston this big brother cookie decoration that is so cute and he is so proud of it. He couldn't wait to get into the cookies so as of now the basket is absent of goofy. He also got prizes from Nonnie and Papa, Mimi and Pawpaw, Aunt Jen and the boys and my friend Tiffany. Thank yall all for helping this day just as special for Weston! It means so much.

Aunt Jen was feeling better today and got to bring Aiden and Austin to meet Brooks. They did so well with him and are ready for their baby brother to be here. I think they will love him so much and be great big brothers.

This is our new addition. Jeremy "Brooks" Covin, 7lbs 11oz. and 20 1/4 inches. He is named in memory of my brother, Jeremy Lee Covin and after Ashley's brother, Jeremy "Ryan" Weston. I will let Ashley update the page later but she wanted some pictures on tonight.

Update

It has been quite a while since I have blogged and a lot has went on. We had Weston's birthday party, a baby shower, and Christmas. Now we are awaiting the arrival of Baby Covin. I have had to be admitted to the hospital once right before Christmas due to high blood pressure and low platelet counts but everything has been pretty good since then besides not being able to sleep all that great. I managed to get through work and am happy to say that I am now on maternity leave. We went to the doctor this past Thursday and everything went well. I am dialated 3cm and am scheduled to be induced on Jan. 29th if he doesn't decide to come before then. The little guy does have a name that Jeff has given him, however I have been forbidded to tell because Jeff wants to keep it a secret for some reason. I am going to try my best to keep it a secret. That is about all for now. Please keep us in your prayers that everything goes well with the delivery. I am getting a little nervous about the delivery and about how Weston will adjust to having a new baby around. I know he will be a great big brother though!

Christmas 08

This year we had a great Christmas! Weston was so much fun along with all the other little boys. I have a lot more Christmas pictures, however they were taken with my new camera that Jeff gave me and it is packed in the car for when we head to the hospital. Weston is proud of his cookies he made for Santa! I think Santa loved them as well because they were all gone when we got up.

It was somewhat loud with all these wild little boys running around Christmas Eve. They were all so excited. They had so much fun and play so good together. They got these hulk sweatshirts and swords as gifts that night.

Baby Shower

Some of my good friends gave us a baby shower and we got lots of great presents. It was a lot of fun and we appreciate everything so much. Tricia with me and Jenn. We are about one week apart.

Two of my good friends from grade school. They helped give me this baby shower and it was great! Thank-yall for eveything. You will never know how much it means to us.

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY WESTON!

We had Weston's party at fun factory and they had so much fun. He got so many great gifts from everyone. I think his Mimi and Daddy had as much fun on the slides as all the kids did. I can't believe he is already four! It is amazing how time flies by. I love you little man and hope you had a great birthday!
