Busy Boy

This little angel face is so fast and gets into everything these days. He also loves to be awake, needless to say when you try to lay him down thinking he is good and asleep, he pops right up smiling. It's hard to get ANYTHING done but I cannot imagine my world without him or Weston.

Sweet Boys!

I love these sweet boys. They keep me busy non-stop. I am so thankful to be blessed with these two!

Happy Halloween!

We went to Tanniehill for Halloween and the kids loved it. They had some of the jump things there and then hundreds of campsites to trick or treat at. I can't begin to tell you the amount of people that stopped Jeff and Brooks to take their picture. They had a crowd around them probably half the time we were there. I just wish we could have entered them in a costume contest. We had a great time and I hope everyone else did as well. My sleepy banana! He was so good. He hung off Jeff the entire time without a wimper. Him is the sweetest little banana.

Everytime I turned around to look for Jeff, I would see him back far behind with a crowd around him. This is just one time that I turned around and took a picture of the people starting to gather around them.

None of these kids would were their costumes. Weston was suppose to be Buzz, Elijah was going to be Woody, and Jalen put on not even half of his Bubble Bee Transformer. Oh well, they had fun and like dressing up in the costumes at home and playing.

Church Activities at the Nazarene

We took the kids to the Nazarene tonight and they had a great time. We always love going there because they do so much with the kids and also have a bible lesson to incorporate as well. Weston dressed like the incredibles and Brooks was a banana. He was suppose to be Nemo but Jeff bought him this great gorilla costume and really wanted Brooks to be his banana so we found it last minute. They looked so cute together although the gorilla is a little on the scary side. Hopefully it won't rain for Halloween and everyone have a safe and fun time!

Weston's class Halloween party

Weston had his party today at school. He had lots of fun. They got to trick or treat at the different class rooms and then come back to their own room to have the party. This is the only picture I managed to get b/c Brooks kept me busy. He has so many costumes but he was Buzz Light Year for this one. Needless to say, he loved school today and got lots of good treats.

Happy Birthday Jalen!

Jalen just had his ninth birthday. It is hard to believe he is already 9yrs old. He is so sweet and smart. I am so proud of him and I know he had a great birthday. I wish you many more to come Jalen. We love you!

Update on Weston

Weston is doing good. He can hear much much better. However the anatomy in his left ear is weak and may not be able to hold the tube as long as needed and the doctor also said he will probably need a tube in this ear until he is about 8 yrs old, so I guess we will be doing this a few more times. Thankyou for yor prayers and big thankyou to my sister for keeping Brooks so I could take good care of Weston.

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday we went to the pumpkin patch with Weston's class and it was absolutely freezing. Jeff and Brooks were with us but ended up leaving b/c it was too cold for Brooks. This is the day before I came down with the flu. Weston enjoyed it though and they got to do lots of activities.

Stuffing the scarecrow for their classroom.

Us on the hayride.

His most favorite part of coarse.

Weston and all his classmates.

Say a little prayer

I have lots of pictures to post but just have to find the time to do it. This has been a rough week. I had the flu last weekend and then my dad's mother passed away this week and her funeral was this weekend. Thankyou to the ones who called with your condolensces- my dad is doing pretty good considering and it was good to get to see some of his family that we don't see very often. However I wanted to ask everyone to say a little prayer for Weston tonight and in the morning. He is having his third set of tubes put in ,in the morning. I know it is only a few minutes procedure, but it is still my little boy that has to walk to the OR without me and get put to sleep and there are always risk, so please just remember him when you say your prayers. To make the whole ordeal worst, I am nervous about what they will have to say about having Brooks with me because I was asked not to bring him ( due to the swine flu outbreak) , however I don't have a baby-sitter and both Jeff and I want to be there with Weston, so maybe they will over look him and not say anything. Hopefully this will be lucky #3 and the last time we have to do this. Thankyou in advance for your prayers- Ashley

Been a while

It has been a little while since I have posted last so there are a few new entries to the blog. Brooks is about to be 8 months old which is just crazy. He has two teeth starting to come in and he is getting around as fast as he can by doing his little army crawl. He lovvvvvves to be held all the time. Weston has started K4 and seems to be enjoying it for the most part. He is a night owl like myself, so he tends to be quite tired in the mornings but he does okay with getting up and getting ready. He loves to do the tumble bus at school. He is such a good helper these days to. He loves his little brother and Brooks loves to get in the floor and play with him and all his toys. We are headed back to Disney World this week and are so excited. I'm sure we will have lots of pictures to post!

Sick Boys

Both my little boys have been sick. Weston has had a nasty cough and ear infection and Brooks started coughing and wheezing. He was started on steroids, and albuterol nebs but they didn't help very much. If I had to guess, I would say he has bronchiolitis that was not responding all that well to albuterol. However they are both getting better and hopefully will be completely better in time for Disney World.

What do you say when you walk in and see this?

How sweet- He is trying to pump his brother some milk- OR - this is complete black male for when he gets older!
